Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our distribution center, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include heavy lifting and order picking, ensuring that products are accurately fulfilled and shipped. With premium skills in forklift operation, warehouse management systems, and mechanical knowledge, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities

Transfer cargo from conveyances to freezer and vice versa safely and efficiently using various material handling equipment.
Inspect cargo as it is loaded/offloaded and mark any Over, Short, or Damaged product
Ensure warehouse is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with all certification standards
Operate and maintain a lift truck and pallet wrapping machinery in a safe and secure manner
Perform various inventory counts
Ensuring equipment is serviced when needed
Load and unload freight in a safe and efficient manner utilizing the proper tools and equipment
Ensure that shipment materials match packing lists before dispatching orders
Inspect conveyances prior to loading to ensure they meet the requirements of all certification standards
Maintain a keen eye for detail and procedure – noting any irregularities to the Warehouse Supervisor
Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products
Abide by and enforce facility rules
Work efficiently and effectively alone, all while operating in conjunction with the entire team
Able to work in a fast-paced environment where quality is of key importance
Utilize state-of-the-art technology to understand the receiving processes, freight flow and replenishment transition, productivity results and warehouse inventory through the use of hand held / vehicle
Regularly lifting up to 50lbs
Applicants must be able to work in cold environments
